THE FOUNDER

Poonam Daga is passionate about the weaves of India and is the founder of Village Haat By Poonam based in Hyderabad, where she promotes weavers from all over India. Foremost, she considers herself a homemaker and an encouraging mother – a job that she has always loved and felt an affinity for. Multi-Tasking, thinking on one’s feet, crisis handling, and creativity are some of the skills she gained as a mother, which she now applies to her venture. She considers her 20-year old son and her husband as her backbone.
